Sintered filters and silencers.

Sintered filters are characterized by their durability and consistent performance. The porous structure enables high fluid flow rates while capturing particulates effectively.

01Grades

Eight grades, 200 µm down to 5 µm.

The powder grade sets the pore size, and the pore size sets what the filter stops and how freely it flows. Callo publishes both a theoretical and a practical particle size for every grade — specify against the practical column.

We also have many different tools for other filter — contact us for additional technical information.

01Why it works

What this gives an engineer.

  • Rigid, one-piece porous metal — it does not collapse, migrate or shed fibres
  • Consistent, repeatable performance over long service intervals
  • High flow rate for the filtration grade
  • Eight standard powder grades from CA200 down to CA5
  • Cleanable and reusable rather than disposable

02Where it ends up

Typical applications.

  • Pneumatic exhaust silencing
  • Air and gas intake filtration
  • Fluid power systems
  • Flow restriction and diffusion
  • Machine-integrated breathers

Typical uses for this component type. Callo does not publish a customer list, and none is implied here.

Engineering support

A filter is a geometry problem as much as a pore-size problem.

Flow area, pressure drop, fitting thread and the space you have to fit it into all interact. Callo holds many different tools for filters beyond the standard lines — ask before you design around a catalogue part.

04Custom components

Have a component in mind?

Send Callo your drawing or your requirements and start a technical discussion. The earlier the conversation starts, the more there is to gain — geometry, material, tooling and production economics are still open.

  1. 01

    Send what you have

Share the available part information directly with Callo and confirm the preferred drawing or model format.

  2. 02

    Talk to someone technical

Callo publishes direct phone and email contacts for questions and orders.

  3. 03

    Get a real answer

Discuss feasibility, materials and tooling requirements with Callo before production.
